More information. | | A NANOLABORATORY UNDER THE SKIN | | An IRB contribution to EPFL's Project Prof. Fabio Grassi and his research group at USI's affiliated Institute for Research in Biomedicine, has participated in a study coordinated by the Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne that led to the development of a nanosensor that works under the skin like a real laboratory, monitoring the body, and sending
data via Bluetooth. This technology will
help personalise therapies based on individual responses to drugs, leading to more effective and timely treatments in case, for example, of heart attacks or relapse of chronic diseases.
