defaulting? Despite its tradition strongly linked to human rights, Switzerland has still a long way to go to improve promotion and protection. This is what emerges from the UN's last Periodic Universal Review. For the first time USI's students joined the ranks of winners: Rebecca Amati won third place thanks to her thesis (Health Professionals' Role with Respect to End-of-Life Patients) on Master Communication, Management & Health, under the supervision of Professor Peter Schulz and Professor Annegret Hannawa. Congratulations also to another student from the same Master course Agnese Abolina, who came in
fifth. William Maria Natta won the ABB/ALSTOM Prize for the best Bachelor's Diploma and Rubina Bianchetti for the best Master. The Alma Bacciarini Prize for the best Master in Italian language, literature, and culture was assigned to Annalisa Scapin. Congratulations to all graduates! More Information. | | | A GESTURE OF GREAT SOLIDARITY |  | Blood Drive at USI In collaboration with the Swiss Red Cross Blood Transfusion Centre, USI will host a blood drive on Lugano Campus. The date is on Tuesday, 11 December from 11am to 4pm in the main building entrance. You are eligible to donate blood if you are in good health, weigh more than 50Kg and if you are 18 or older. All you have to do is show up at the welcome desk with a photo ID on a full stomach. The procedure will last 45 minutes. More Information. |
