Commissionata dal Cantone, l'indagine è stata realizzata da un team congiunto composto, per l'USI, dalla dott.ssa Luisa Lomazzi dell'Istituto di Economia Politica. La ricerca ha misurato per la prima volta la qualità percepita, ovvero il grado di soddisfazione di anziani e familiari quanto all'accoglienza e ai servizi (compresi cure e animazione) offerti dalle 63 strutture ticinesi.

Una finestra sul mondo. Da Dürer a Mondrian e oltre

Il ciclo, dedicato ad approfondire i temi della mostra ospitata al Museo cantonale d'arte e al Museo d'Arte Lugano, si aprirà martedì 9 ottobre alle 18.30 nell'auditorio del Campus di Lugano con una conferenza introduttiva di Francesca Bernasconi. Gli appuntamenti sono proposti, come di consueto, dalla Società ticinese di belle arti in collaborazione con il TEC-Lab dell'USI.

Il servizio pubblico radiotelevisivo nella società che cambia

La serata pubblica, organizzata in collaborazione con l'Osservatorio europeo di giornalismo della Facoltà di scienze della comunicazione, si terrà mercoledì 10 ottobre alle 18.30 all'Hotel De La Paix di Lugano. Interverranno Dino Balestra (direttore RSI), Matteo Caratti (direttore de La Regione), Marcello Foa (docente USI e direttore di Tamedia) e Luigi Pedrazzini (presidente CORSI); modererà il dibattito il noto critico televisivo Aldo Grasso.

Presentata la terza edizione dell'Executive MBA, che parte a febbraio

A illustrarla sono stati i due co-direttori dell'EMBA, il prof. Erik Larsen (vice-decano della Facoltà di scienze economiche) e il prof. Gianluca Colombo (direttore dell'Istituto di management). All'open day di giovedì 4 ottobre, che come ogni evento EMBA è stato anche un'importante occasione di networking, erano presenti i partecipanti delle due edizioni in corso, che hanno risposto a domande e curiosità dei futuri candidati portando il loro prezioso punto di vista.

L'universo è tornato

Mercoledì 26 settembre è uscita la prima edizione del semestre autunnale del mensile studentesco di USI e SUPSI. Tra nuovi arrivi in redazione e nuovi progetti, il giornale propone in questo numero un viaggio nei temi della famiglia, dai cambiamenti di struttura alla mediazione familiare, dai divorzi (anche celebri) alle testimonianze dal territorio.

Satisfied Guests for the Institutes in Ticino

Commissioned by the Canton, the survey was carried out by a special team made of researchers including USI's Ph.D. Luisa Lomazzi from the Institute of Economics. The research measured for the first time the grade of quality perceived, or in other words, the degree of satisfaction of the elderly and their relatives for the service (including care and entertainment) offered by the 63 nursing homes in Ticino.

A window on the world. From Durer to Mondrian and more

The series is dedicated to exploring the themes of the art exhibit hosted by the Museo cantonale d'arte and the Museo d'Arte di Lugano. It will open on Tuesday, 9 October at 6.30pm in the Auditorium of Lugano Campus with an introductory lecture held by Francesca Bernasconi. The lectures are organised as usual by the Società ticinese di belle arti in cooperation with USI's TEC-Lab.

Broadcasting and Public Service in an ever changing Society

The event organised in cooperation with USI's European Journalism Observatory of the Faculty of Communication Sciences is open to the public and will be held on Wednesday, 10 October at 6.30pm at the Hotel De La Paix in Lugano. Special guests for the evening will be Dino Balestra (Head of RSI), Matteo Caratti (Editor of La Regione) Marcello Foa (USI Faculty memeber and head of Tamedia) and Luigi Pedrazzini (CORSI President). An Introduction to the third Executive MBA to begin in February

The course was introduced by the two co-directors Prof. Erik Larsen (Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economics) and Prof. Gianluca Colombo (Director of the Institute of Management). Like any other EMBA gathering the event has been a great chance for networking. On Thursday, 4 October the participants of the two former Executive Masters were present at the open days to answer to all of the questions by future candidates, giving a precious insight.

Next EMBA meeting: graduation ceremony on 13 October.

L'universo is back

The first monthly issue for the Fall semester of USI and SUPSI student magazine was published on Wednesday, 26 September. Among new arrivals in the editorial staff and new projects, the magazine takes their readers on a journey to family related themes, from changes in family structure, household mediation, famous divorces and facts about our region.
