Lugano supporting the concept of project-based learning. | | PUBLIC RELATIONS COUNCIL OF INDIA (PRCI) | | PRCI Chanakya Prize 2012 awarded to the Institute of Media and Journalism The highly recognized Indian professional organisation in the field of public relations presented the
prestigious prize to IMeG as "recognition for relevant services and essential contribution to the
profession, the industry and society throughout the years." The prize, conferred during an official ceremony that took place in Bombay on 13 February, also comes as a result of the activities of the China Media Observatory. CULTURAL ENCOUNTERS AT USI | | Altr'arti 2012: the new lecture series for the spring, dedicated to Indian Art The series offers a look at the so called extra-european cultures. After Japan and China, is now India's turn to take the
stage. Throughout the centuries, due to its aesthetic and ideological peculiarities, Indian Art has spread in Western Countries in a different way than Japanese or Chinese Art. The first lecture will take place on Tuesday, March 6 at 6.30pm in the Auditorium (Lugano Campus). Entrance is free for all members of USI's community. | | A DIALOGUE BETWEEN SCIENCE AND SOCIETY | | USI takes part in Asconosc(i)enza, with an Exhibition about "Touch" The event will take place from 7 to 21 March at Ascona's local schools (scuole comunali), with the purpose of promoting science amongst young people. Thanks to the Ideatorio, USI is contributing to the exhibition with Con-Tatto! a recreational, sensorial and scientific experience under the motto "Please do touch". Scheduled visiting hours with animation are reserved to schools, only upon reservation. The exhibition is
