| | LECTURE ON HUMAN ECOLOGY | | To "re-city" the city: living and dwelling together. Is it possible? To live in a place means sharing land, memory, security and hopes, thus enhancing the common good is essential for living together. What does being a "citizen" mean today? To live in a clean neighbourhood, with a well-paid job and access to
financial and commercial centres? What is a "sustainable city"? A greener city, with bicycles everywhere and designated recreational areas?
This and other topics will be raised by Prof. Riccardo Petrella as part of the public lecture on Tuesday, March 29 at 8.30pm in the Aula Magna of the Academy of Architecture in Mendrisio. More information. |
