Dal 13 al 19 marzo si celebra il primo decennio degli ERC Grant, simbolo dell’eccellenza scientifica dell’Europa nel mondo e nella Svizzera italiana, dove finora sono stati conferiti 13 fondi di ricerca per un totale che supera i 19 milioni di euro.
Per la prima volta l'evento - che si terrà sul campus di Lugano - punta non più solo sull’esposizione delle diverse realtà professionali, ma anche su incontri strutturati tra responsabili delle aziende, prof. e studenti (su iscrizione entro il 17 marzo).
La maggior organizzazione professionale indiana del settore ha attribuito il riconoscimento all'Istituto media e giornalismo. Il premio è stato consegnato al prof. Matthew Hibberd in una cerimonia ufficiale svoltasi a Bangalore la scorsa settimana.
Sono stati selezionati ben 5 architetti professori di atelier di progettazione dell’USI: Manuel e Francisco Aires Mateus, Jan de Vylder, Anne Holtrop, Francis Diebedo Kéré e Jonathan Sergison, oltre ad altri 5 recenti visiting professor a Mendrisio.
La Fondazione IBSA e la Fondazione Leonardo hanno deciso di sostenere per i prossimi 3 anni le attività dei corsi avanzati in imprenditoria biomedica MedTech Business e BioBusiness, gestiti dal CASE BioMed della Facoltà di scienze biomediche.
