Il Prof. Luigi Dadda, fondatore di ALaRI e cofondatore della Facoltà di scienze informatiche dell'USI, è stato premiato postumo per il suo moltiplicatore veloce: la posa della targa si terrà giovedì 29 settembre alle ore 14.30 a Milano.
Giovedì 29 settembre alle ore 19.00 il vincitore del premio Junya Ishigami terrà una conferenza. L’esposizione presenta al pubblico i lavori dei 28 candidati al premio, con un approfondimento dedicato al vincitore.
Venerdì 7 ottobre alle ore 18:00 (aula A12, campus di Lugano) il celebre fisico francese, tra i maggiori esperti della correlazione quantistica fra particelle, terrà la conferenza "Dal dibatitto Einstein-Bohr ad una nuova rivoluzione quantistica".

Il 15 settembre il Municipio della Città di Lugano ha rilasciato la licenza edilizia per la costruzione del campus universitario USI-SUPSI a Lugano-Viganello. I lavori prenderanno avvio nell’estate 2017 e la loro conclusione è prevista nel 2020.

Prof. Luigi Dadda, founder of ALaRI and co-founder of USI’s Faculty of Informatics, was awarded the Milestone posthumously for his high-speed multiplier. The plaque will be placed in Milan on September 29th at 2.30pm.
The winner of the award, Junya Ishigami, will hold a lecture on Thursday, September 29th at 7pm. The exhibition will display the works of the 28 candidates to the award, with an in-depth look to the winning project.
The acclaimed physicist regarded as one of the leading experts of quantum correlation between particles will hold the lecture “From the Einstein-Bohr debate to a new quantum revolution” on Oct. 7th at 6pm (room A12, Lugano Campus).
The Professor at USI received the award during a ceremony that took place during the EACH conference for “her remarkable accomplishments in the area of health communication research”.
The 2nd Economy Day will be held tomorrow, Sept. 27th at 9am at Palazzetto Fevi (Locarno). Promoted by the Department of Finance and Economy the themes will be innovation, economic and territorial development and mobility.

On September 15th, Lugano City Hall issued the building permit for the construction of USI-SUPSI University Campus in Lugano-Viganello. Works will begin in the summer of 2017 and are scheduled to end in 2020.
