Michael Bronstein, professore straordinario della Facoltà di scienze informatiche, terrà la sua lezione inaugurale "Start thinking in 3D!" in lingua inglese, giovedì 25 febbraio alle 17.30 nell’auditorio del campus di Lugano.
La prestigiosa cattedra assegnata su raccomandazione delle università del Belgio a rinomati ricercatori che eccellono nel campo della propria disciplina è stata conferita al già Decano della Facoltà di scienze informatiche prof. Michele Lanza.
Dedicata al paesaggio, la mostra presenta 60 fotografie principalmente in bianco e nero realizzate tra gli anni 1980 e 1990 in Europa. L’inaugurazione si terrà giovedì 25 febbraio alle 19.00 alla Galleria dell'Accademia a Mendrisio.

Il progetto diretto dal Prof. Binder della Facoltà di scienze informatiche, sostenuto dal Fondo nazionale svizzero per la ricerca scientifica (FNS) tra l'USI e l'ETH di Zurigo, investiga nuovi approcci per l'analisi dinamica dei programmi.
Michael Bronstein, associate professor of the Faculty of Informatics, will hold his inaugural lecture "Start thinking in 3D!" in English on Thursday, February 25th at 5.30pm in the Auditorium of Lugano Campus.
The prestigious chairs are bestowed upon recommendation of Belgian universities to world class researchers who excel in their respective field. This year one chair has been awarded to prof. Michele Lanza, former Dean of the Faculty of Informatics.
