Premio Ercole Pisello al Prof. Antonio Lanzavecchia

Al direttore dell’IRB è stato conferito il riconoscimento attribuito annualmente dall’Associazione Giuseppe Corradi. Il premio è assegnato a personalità del mondo medico e scientifico che si siano particolarmente distinte nella propria attività di ricerca e di studio. Nel corso degli anni sono stati premiati medici e ricercatori tra i quali figurano Rita Levi Montalcini, Christiaan Barnard, Carlo Rubbia, Umberto Veronesi, Silvio Garattini e il ticinese Athos Gallino. >>>

Giovedì 28 novembre si terrà il consueto appuntamento di riflessione e discussione sulla dinamica economica cantonale – congiunturale e strutturale – nel contesto di un confronto interregionale, nazionale e transfrontaliero. The IRB’s director has received the prize that is awarded annually by the Giuseppe Corradi Association. The award is given to personalities of the medical and scientific world who have excelled in their research and study activities. Over the years, various physicians and researchers were honored with this award, including Rita Levi Montalcini, Christiaan Barnard, Carlo Rubbia, Umberto Veronesi, Silvio Garattini and Athos Gallino from Ticino. >>>

The event will take place on Friday, 8 November, at 8.30 pm in the Aula Magna of Lugano Campus. The economic Competitiveness of Ticino: opportunities for a border region in an open market

ConfronTi-Economia will be held on Thursday, 28 November. It is a regular event dedicated to reflections and discussions about the canton’s economic and structural dynamics in an inter-regional, national and cross-border context. The analysis of Ticino’s economic competitiveness highlights various critical aspects in comparison with other Swiss cantons. The actual challenge concerns the ability to read and reinterpret these factors in a new way, to transform them into competitive assets of our territory’s economic system. >>>

The conference that will be held on Saturday, 23 November, starting from 11 am in the Auditorium (Lugano Campus), will present different aesthetic, scientific and philosophical perspectives on the topic of loneliness.
