| | USI ALUMNI ASSOCIATION Saturday, the first USI alumni event. A day dedicated to becoming a successful negotiator. Each of us is required to negotiate more often than we may realize: during job interviews, while buying or selling something, and even in our private lives. With the
workshop on negotiation to occur Saturday, November 13th, the USI Alumni Association launches a new series of events especially for our graduates, now career professionals, who are interested in practical advice and deep insights delivered by speakers from academia and industry. Featured speakers at the first event will include Prof. Jean-Pierre Gontard, ex-director of IEUD, who will speak on his experiences in
Colombia with the FARC
for the liberation of Ingrid Betancourt, and Andreas Wetter, Chairman of the Board at Orange Communications, speaking on negotiation in the mobile communication market. Registration is open through Friday to USI graduates and to masters students in their second years. | | EVENTS
Master meetings Through December
16th, Master Meeting, an open-door concept, allows current bachelor students (from USI and other universities) the possibility to follow class lessons together with current master students. Interested individuals may then determine through first-hand experience whether the masters coursework is a good match with their needs. Those who sign up for Master Meeting will be paired with a current master student-- the ideal person to relay the true study experience.
