| COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES AT THE SERVICE OF SUSTAINABLE TOURISM | | UNESCO Chair at USI Prof. Lorenzo Cantoni, Dean
of the Faculty of Communication Sciences, will direct of the Chair in "Information Technologies and Communication for the Development and Promotion of Sustainable Tourism in World heritage Sites". The aim is to support the online communication of the world heritage sites, especially the ones in developing countries, through research and training. Observatory of Tourism. O-Tur aims at increasing and disseminating knowledge of the tourism industry of the Canton, by means of systematic observation and analysis of Ticino's tourism demand and local supply, through the application of qualitative and quantitative methods.
